She feels that before there were a couple pieces which have been emotional, but “Buckets of Rain” was specifically about a great loss or a kind of drama, and more about choices—“black and white, life and death, good and bad, and the impact of that.” She felt embarrassed about displaying such emotion but believes she didn’t have a choice, since she had recently experienced many great losses.
